Bio

Zoe Hayter is a young English-Czech folk-rock singer-songwriter and busker. At a very young age she started playing on the streets and in front of public in France. In 2015 she’s put together an indie-rock band called Her English Blood that was based in Prague. When she was 14, her band released their debut album Only Breathing which they have produced themselves with the money Zoe made from busking everyday for a year.
Then Zoe started to play her gigs solo or with her new backing band. Since then she has supported musicians and bands such as Glen Hansard, Dan Owen, Deep Blue Something, Ivan & the Parazol and Ye Vagabonds.
In March 2019 Zoe released her first solo single with an official video High Expectations which was baptised by Tonya Graves. Zoe also performed solo at the Metronome Festival in Prague and at Glastonbury Festival in England with Footsbarn Travelling Theatre during the summer 2019, and was on the BBC national broadcast with them. Then she played two solo shows in London after that went on to play in small French towns.
In 2020 she has starred and cooperated in a folk Irish duo Lemoncello‘s official video for their song Libra, filmed and directed by Myles O’Reilly/Arbutus Yarns Presents. In May she has released her quarantine album Tapes of Solitude, recorded on her phone which is available on Bandcamp. Currently she is rehearsing with Footsbarn Travelling Theatre and will appear in their upcoming production of Crock of Gold as an actress/musician.
